It has been a long time since I posted. I am happy to report that I am no longer learning to date, but learning how to be in a relationship. My Crackerjack prize, has become the one and only person in my life. When I started this journey, I never imagined that I would be writing that I found a best friend and soul mate.
I met my Crackerjack prize almost a year ago. His place in my life and heart is solidly grounded. I can not even imagine my life without him. The kind and sweet man he was on day one has never changed. He actually has become more than I could have wished for. I want to spend everyday with him. We have traveled together and spend weekends trading off homes. I have met and fell in love with his family and he has done the same.
He has made me feel complete and special. When I am planning something I always think of him being at my side.
Being in a relationship with him has been easy. We are pretty open on our likes and dislikes and we seem to mesh perfectly. We spent the holidays together, and he surprised me on Valentines' Day. I have gone from being in like with him to being in love. He has my heart and he takes care of it very well.
The dating process was an adventure, and I was scared. I felt that I would not find anyone, but when he walked into my life, it was a gift. Maybe I will let you know what surprise I have coming up...you will just have to wait.
Now get off the PC and go date someone!!
